(briawn) have you ever drafted a tandem going downhill? you can go scary fast. i remember practically going 50mph on a minor downhill grade when riding on the tandem with my dad, since the combined weight of us and the bicycle was in excess of 450lb

(briawn) this isn't magic land.. there are lots of factors like wind resistance and rolling resistance that will get overcome by greater weight
